Assistant Store Manager (Los Angeles)

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Development & Sales Leadership

  • Establish and Nurture a Client Book: Proactively identify, engage, and build lasting, one-on-one relationships with clientele to acquire new Kilte customers and drive repeat business.

  • Deliver Elevated Service: Ensure every client interaction reflects the highest standards of luxury, brand knowledge, and personalized styling.

  • Achieve Sales Targets: Meet and exceed individual and store sales goals by driving both walk-in and appointment-based traffic.

  • Build Community: Assist in planning and executing in-store events, trunk shows, and outreach initiatives to grow the store's local following.

2. Operational Excellence & Store Management

  • Hands-On Daily Operations: Establish and oversee all essential functions of the store, including inventory management, visual merchandising, POS transactions, loss prevention, and cleanliness.

  • Scheduling and Team Oversight: Manage the daily schedule for yourself and the team to ensure adequate sales floor coverage and operational flow.

  • Maintain Brand Standards: Ensure the store's visual presentation and back-of-house organization meet Kilte’s standards at all times.

3. Team Leadership & Brand Stewardship (The Leader)

  • Team Training: Mentor and coach the team on product knowledge, sales techniques, and operational requirements.

  • Communication: Act as the primary liaison between the retail location and the corporate/e-commerce team, providing daily feedback on sales, inventory, and customer insights.

  • Cultivate a Positive Environment: Foster an engaging, collaborative, and professional working atmosphere that motivates the small team.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in luxury or high-end apparel retail, such as an Assistant Store Manager, Floor Manager, or Lead Client Advisor.

  • Clienteling Expertise: Demonstrable success in building and maintaining a personal client base and driving significant repeat sales through outreach and relationship management.

  • Brand Alignment: A genuine appreciation for the Kilte ethos, with an understanding of the Montana Ave demographic.

  • Operational Skills: High comfort level with managing all facets of store operations, including inventory systems, POS software, and administrative duties in a hands-on capacity.

  • Location: Must be local to or able to commute reliably to the Santa Monica area.

  • Leadership Style: Proactive, self-motivated, adaptable, and a natural problem-solver who thrives in a lean, entrepreneurial environment.

 

Key Holder (Los Angeles)

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in apparel retail as an Associate or Key Holder.

  • Brand Alignment: A genuine appreciation for the Kilte ethos, with an understanding of the Montana Ave demographic.

  • Operational Skills: High comfort level with store operations, including shipping and receiving and POS software.

  • Location: Must be local to or able to commute reliably to the Santa Monica area.
